NEW YORK, May 1
A message from Omaha, in Nebraska, states that a series of tornadoes in section of the states of Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska, killed seven persons and injured scores, while the damage to property was extensive.

NEW YORK, May 2
A message from Sioux City, lowa, states that 18 persons Were killed , y a big tornado, which swept the Central Western States of Nebraska, Kan sas, Minniesota, and Missouri. Many have been made hone less. Much damage to farm proporty reported. Many calls for relief, have been received from scores of small communities, where the wind did the greate.it damage.
