BRAZILIAN REBELS.

NEW YORK, May 2
A report from the city of Para, up the Amazon River, states that forty provincial policemen were killed in an ambush near Princess by rebels. The police casaulties during the past few days are said to total fifty dead. The trouble is of state origin.
