MADRID, May 2
It is estimated ten thousand assembled at the station to greet Senor Unamuno, former Rector of Salnmnea University, who was exiled during the dictatorship. On his arrival, he addressed a meeting of republicans, the crowd cheering wildly, anil some shouting. “Long Live Unamuno! Down with Alfonso!” Thereupon a bugle sounded, and police, mounted
and afoot, charged with drawn sabres Twelve were’ wounded.
