Advice was received at midday stating that Mr David Marr had died this morning as the result of an accident. • • ■The deceased was a‘native of Kanieri and was 61 years of age. WESTPORT, April 9
An unusital fatality occurred at Denniston mine this morning when David Marr, a miner, aged 62, was found dead. It is thought deceased was injured on the head and tried to walk out of the mine but when he had gone a considerable distance, he collapsed and' died. There was an injury on the head when
