LATE LOCALS.
No deaths occurred from notifiable diseases in the Canterbury and West mnd health districts, during the week ended at noon on Monday. There were nineteen notifications, as follows: — West Coast, Diphtheria 1; Canterbury, Scarlet fever 3, Diphtheria 4, Enterit fever 1, Tuberculosis 2, Pneumonia 2, Puerperal sepsis 1, Erysipelas 2, Food poisoning 1, Hydatids 1, ; Septic abortion 1. Total 19.
Messrs W. Weddell and Co. Ltd. advise, dated London 4th. as follows: “Danish butter 140 s to 142 s (last week 149 sto 150s),'New Zealand unsalted butter 134 s to 142 s (138 s to 1445), New Zealand salted 124 s to 128 s (1265, to 130 s), market depressed. New Zealand cheese, ■ white 76s to /7s (<Bs to /9s). coloured 78s to 79s (79s to 81s), market quiet. Canadian cheese, white ,96s to 100 s (96s to 100 s), coloured 96s to 98s (96s to 985).”
