PARIS. April 8,
M. Tardieu informed a deputation from the woollen industry that lit would shortly be granting tax reductions on wool, amounting to half a mi l <> n sterling. He promised to carefully examine the whole system ol wool taxation.
AEROPLANES COLLIDE
ATHENS, April 8,
Colliding shortly after taking off, two military aeroplanes crashed. A pilot and two observers in one machine were killed and the other pilot was seriously injured.
THREE POWER TREATY
READY FOR SIGNING SHORTLY

It is learned that the Three Powei Treaty has so progressed that it wih shortly be ready for signing. Australia, New Zealand and Canada wd 1 sign separately from Britain in accordance with the 1926 Imperial Conference declaration. It is stat.ee South Africa is not signing, she nol •being interested in the Pacific Ocean The treaty means a considerable saving in building programmes, but servations give the right to resummon signatories if the European pow ei's building makes it necessary.
