BRITISH RUGBY TEAM
THE RADIO QUESTION

WELLINGTON, March 13
The Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union, on receiving letters from the New Zealand Broadcasting Coy. and the Hawke’s Bay Radio Society, asking that the Union allow Rugby matches, particularly the England v. New Zealand test's, to lie broadcast, decided that the matter be brought up in its general business at the annual meeting of the delegates of New Zealand.
The Queensland Rugby Union wrpte asking for a reduction upon the 50-50 terms for the visit of the British team to Brisbane. It was decided to inform the Queensland Union that if the Australian matches played by the British team showed a loss and the New Zealand matches profit, the New Zealand Union would be prepared to review the terms.
The Bay of Plenty Union applied for a match against the British team at Rotorua. It was decided to reply that the itinerary had already been drawn up. hut that the question of the Bl'i- • tsh team playing an unofficial game at Rotorua would be placed before the visitors.
