There is glorious weather and a fast track for the annual trolling fixture, of the Manawatu Trotting Club at Ashhurst to-day when a large crowd attended.
Barcelet Handicap:—(2) Inverness 1. \7) Von 2. (3) Mount Logan 3. Won by two lengths. All started. Time 3.40.
Linton .Handicap:—(l) Parish Belle 1, (2) Oc-kley Wood 2, (3t Finora 3. Ser. Caballero. Won by a neck. Time 3..51 2-o.
Stewards’ Handicap:—(l) Lady Author I, (7) Richmond Lass 2. (4) Moun tain Princess 3, Ser. Sister Chris. Won by a length. Time 4.39 4-5.
