WELLINGTON, March 12
The Prime Minister lias been advised by the Administraror of Western Samoa, that as the jesult of the death of the Samoan. Motia, Lanoe-Corpl. Ricketts, of the Samoan Police Force, has been suspended from duty and is to stand bis trial for manslaughter. This will ena' ie the whole circumstances of the fa'aTTty to be fully investigated.
Word was added that tile H.M.S. Dunedin is expected to leave Apia for New Zealand on Friday next.
