VANCOUVER, March 10
The Dominion Board of Grain Commissioners declares a large carry-over of wheat is imminent. There remains one hundred and eighty million bushels to bei disposed of before the end of July. February is declared an extremely disappointing month, both regarding shipments and prices.
BRIBERY APPEAL
LOS ANGELES, March 10
Asa Keyes, who was convicted of bribery and lost his final appeal, lias been sent to San Quentin Penintentihry for 14 years. Five hundred convicts, whom he sent there during his term of district attorney, greeted him enthusiastically.
TRADE WITH CANADA
OTTAWA, March 10.
It is announced in the House of Commons that Canada imported more than thirty-three million seven hundred thousand pounds of New Zealand butter last season, while she imported two hundred and seventy .four thousand pounds of Australian butter last year. The purports of butter from other countries were more than one million eight hundred thousand pounds. The heaviest imports were during the winter months. Canada exported one million four hundred thousand pounds of butter.
