AUCKLAND, February 26. There .-i'kflJ'. many of the Aorangi’s passengers now in quarantine on Motuihi Island will be released on Friday 'or Saturday. Dr. T. J. "Hughes, Medical Officer of Health for Auckland, stated fo-day that ttiflfcpersons who had'ljeen exsmall pox infection were usVmjß declined -for-- three or four vaccination. If the innovation proved to have taken $ effect, they were (released. ThisH would probably be done in the present instance if all went well. •. /h
It was Reported officially to-day that, the small pox patient was almost we' 1 again, and was in good spirits. All the other* passengers'- were in ■ good health. SYDNEY, February 26. When the Aorangi arrives at Sydney on Saturday the passengers °ud crew will be landed at north head quarantine station, where they will undergo an exhaustive medical examination. The vessel, at the same time, will be thoroughly fumigated. The passengers will be brought to" Svdney late the same evening in fen-v boat's. The crew will bring tbAorangi to berth.
