LONDON, Feb, 18.

Twenty-live Glasgow casualties are still in the hospital. , A majority are in a serious condition. Legs were injured wheai the floors oi the carriages collapsed. The victims were mostly girls going. home from work. A fog delayed the arrival of ambulances and the frozen, slippery ground added Lo the difficulties of the rescuers. The list of injured included a Girl Guide whose legs were badly hurt. She did not whimper though severely jolted, when carried up the. frozen embankment. A doctor attending her remarked: “You are a line soldier.”

The girl simply replied: “1 am a Girl Guide.”

AGFRAN SENTENCE
