Farmer, of Wairau Hospital, has joined the ranks of women aviators, gaining henticket from Wing Commander Grant Dalton this morning. Others who were successful in the tests were: Messrs Ewen D. McFarlane., Alex Ward,* Noel Rose, W. T. Churchward, W. Perkins, and Goring C. Johnston, all of Blenheim; Thurston G. Adams, of Palmerston North, and Terence Lovell Gregg, of Picton. The Marlborough Aero Club has now turned out 22 A pilots. ■ Lovell Gregg is only 17 years of age. The Moth, ZK., AAJ., piloted by Captain Chandler left at 9.35 for Christchurch to attend the Canterbury Club’s pageant, accompanying him. in a service Moth, piloted by Flight Lieutenant Burrell, with Wing Commander L.
