THOUGHTS FOR THE TIMES
THE HOUR AND THE MAN. While other countries have had to pay dearly for temporary accommodation we have not had occasion to go on the market during the current financial year. But arrangements must be made in advance, and it would be to the advantage of the Dominion if these matters-,, could have the personal attention of the Minister of Finance in London. There is no one in the Dominion more experienced in tilings financial than is the Prime Minister, and it can be taken for granted that these, and all allied matters, will have attention in good time. The country will be glad that Sir Joseph "Ward has made such a good recovery, and will hope that his visit to the. north will completely restore him to health and strength. —Lyttelton Times.
