At the Grey mouth courts on Saturday a team lrom the Canterbury Suburban Clubs defeated a. combined Greymouth-liokitika team by 22 sets to 10. Although the. Canterbury team took the majority of the sets, the games wore more even than this would indicate, as Canterbury won 200 games to the combined’s 187. Some particularly tine tennis was witnessed, the game between Gooch and Robertson especially being good, the former winning 9/6 alter a hard tussle.
