The tote receipts, for the day were £72,075, compared with £44,311 for the corresponding day of last year, an increase of £27,7-64. The total receipts for the first two days were £193.492, as against '£140,0951 for the first two days last year. Results:
Summer Cup.—(9) Royal Doulton 1, (1) Pegaway 2, (8) Amor 3. Won by three-quarters of a lengths. lime 2;-7. Criterion Handicap.—('/) Tenterden 1, (1) Awaken 2, (5) Trematus 3. Won by half a length. Time 1.14 1-5. Electric. Handicap.-—(3) Knightlike 1, (7) Leitrim 2, (5) Polyxena 3. Won by a head: two lengths. Time 1.13 3-5.
Plunket Handicap.—(s) Hyde Park 1, (1) Goshawk 2, (8) King Emerald 3. Won by a neck; half a length. Time 1.39.
