A shocking fatality occurred on the Mar ton racecourse this morning, an apprentice jockey, lan Gregory Neieli (15), son of George Neieli. of Clareville, Carterton, sustaining shocking head injuries from which later lie expired. He was schooling the horse Full Mark, when the animal seemed to swerve and the lad struck his head on a distance post standing near the centre of the course).
