(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 8. Private advice was received in Wellington to-day of the death in England of Sir John Findlay. Sir John Findlay was _ a native of Hokitika, his parents residing in Gibson Quay in the early seventies. His father was a partner in the firm ol Hayworth and Findlay,, sawmillers on Gibson Quay.
