SUCCESS IN AMERICA

NEW YORK, Nov. 27

The members of the Victoria College debating team from Wellington. New which is nearing the completion of its tour of the United States and Canada, were entertained hv the English-Speaking Union here. They/are leaving shortly for New England, where they will debate with several of the Universities. Then they will return to New Aork. Their debate with Columbia University takes place on January sth next. They "ill then sail for home from San Francisco. The team state that they have been greatly pleased with the opportunities afforded them of seeing Canadian and American life, especially at the smaller colleges. The team have l had a full schedule of debating, with many colleges, ol both men and women, and they lm\o lost 'but two decisions.
