SHEEP FOR, RUSSIA. POSSIBLE FEDERAL ACTION. •SYDNEY, Nov.. 27. The Norwegian motor ship Thnlatta leaves during the week end with a consignment of five thousand rams and ewes for Russia. The purchase was made on behalf of the Government of the Soviet Republic. It is understood Russia is placing orders for an additional twenty thousand. As the result of very strong criticism in Sydney papers, there is a possibility that the Federal Government will pass a, law prohibiting the export of stud merinos from Australia.
