Tlio recent visit of the Finance Minister (Mr Soony) to the war front resulted in the sudden relaxation of the serious position of the Government forces at Hankow. A, temporary truce was declared between Kuominchung and Government forces, everything pointing to a settlement of the internals War. As the result of payment of huge sums by the Government to the attackers- it is!believed Fengyuhsiang will receive three million dollars and Yenheisihan seven millions if they promise to cease hostilities.
