WELSH FLOODS
WORST FOR 30 YEARS. (United Press Association—By Electric 1 Telegraph—Copyright). LONDON, November 26. The severest floods for thirty years have occurred in Monmouthshire, South Wales, and the West Country as the result of continued rains. The rivers are overflowing. The houses in a number of areas are inundated to a depth of six or seven feet. Boats are plying in the streets and in the fields. Thousands of workers are rendered idle. An army of rats have been driven from the sewers. They have invaded parts of Swansea. The householders there are alarmed, and, they are barricading their houses at night time.
