Scores of likely clues have been followed up without avail. A waiter at the hotel where the victim, Maria Hahn, was seen in company with a. man on the eve of her murder, informed the police that a party of excursionists were photographed in various groups which it is almost certain included the girl Hahn and her acquaintance. The police are appealing throughout the country to photographers to send photographs.
