GRAVESIDE SCENE
SINGING THE RED FLAG.

Mrs Una Speec-hley, a prominent member of he Minefields’ 'Communist Croup, was killed in a bus accident on Saturday, and was being buried at Cessnock yesterdfiy, when an extraordinary scene occurred. The burial was conducted by an Anglican clergyman at the request of deceased’s parents. At the conclusion Communists raised the Red Flag over the grave and the loaders called on the others to sing the revolutionary song, the “Red Flag.”
A woman relative screamed—“ Don’t let them do it!” and collapsed at the graveside.
The cleryman ordered the Communists to desist, but they proceeded to encircle the grave and sang “The Red Flag.”
