THREATENED UPHEAVAL
IN TRANSPORT INDUSTRY.
(Australian Press Association)
(Received this day at 8 a.m.) SYDNEY, November 19
An official report concerning the outcome of the meeting ol various trades union transport executives at the Trades Hall to-day sets out resolutions were carried which express a determination in the event of the Government introducing free labour in certain mines then all the miners now working in other collieries of New South Wales, chiefly southern and western districts, will be called out by their executives. Further, tne railway will not handle the coal, and the whole weight of the Trade Union movement will be thrown behind the strike, causing a complete dislocation of transport and industry, •which' eventually would spread to other States.
~ The meeting declared the responsibility for a general strike, and challenge tp unionism would therefore rest upon -the Bavin Government, also Justice Hibble who went out of his way to prejudice thencase against the miners, in favour of the owners.
