For the Spring Meeting of the Waikato Racing Club there was fine hut windy weather, with the surface drying fast but still holding. The attendance was large. The totalisator handled £30,083 against £27,200 for the first day of last year, an increase of £2883. Results:— Wnimai Hurdles.—(2) Master Roley 1, (12) Waka King 2, (10) The Lamb 3. Half a lenrrth each way. Time 2.40. Trial Plate (First - Division). —(2) Billing Chief 1, Toh'oia 2, (14) Thurnus 3. Won by two lengths; six - lengths. Yl’inie 1.16.
Second Division.—(s) Yalstreet 1, (12) Nassau 2, (3) Coll 3. Won by a head; two lengths. Time 1.15 4-5. Tamahere Handicap.—(l) Oil King 1, (4) Betterment 2, (14) Kingford 3. Won by half a length; two lengths. Time 50 4-5.
Waikato Cup.—(l) True Blood 1, (3) High Pitch 2, (2) Black Maire 3. Won by a neck; two and a half lengths. Time 2.11 3-5.
Chuidelamls Handicap.—(3) Sir Russel 1, (6) Owairaka 2, (8) Hakanoa 3. Won by one and a half lengths each way. Time 1.44 1-5. C'larkin Handicap.—(3) Kaha 1, (1) Imperial Prince 2, (3) Prince of Orange 3. Won by three quarters of a length each way. Time 1.44. Cambridge Handicap.—(l) Pegaway 1, (5) Prince Val 2, (3) Royal Doulton 3. Won by half a length; a length. Time 1.15.
Hautapu Handicap.—(lo) Storm Fiend I, (3) Whakama 2, (2) Val roe 3. Won by three-quarters of a length; a neck. Time 1.29 3-5.

The Victorian Amateur Turf Club races' wore held yesterday. Results : Armidale Handicap: Lineage 7.9 (W. Duncan) 1, Ethelton 7.8 (W. Elliott) 2, Cumbrian 8.12 (O. Phillips) 3. Twelve started. Won by half a length. Time 2.19:}.
RAND WICK RACES. SYDNEY, November 17. At the Rnndwiek races yesterday the results were:— November Handicap.—The Banker 8.7 (>l. Alunro) 1, Papatu 8.3 2, Pntadnmn 7.2 3. Eleven started. Won by four lengths; third a head away. Time 2.341. Highweight Handicap.—Gesto 9.6 (McCarten) 1, Bollinger 9.0, 2; Wangoola 8.0, 3. There were 21 starters. Won by half a length. Time 1.38:}. A WINNER HOOTED. SYDNEY, November 17. Bonnie Marjorie, which failed badly at Canterbury Park a fortnight ago, after running consistently for some time, was the subject of one of tin* greatest hostile demonstrations seen for years, when she won the Flying Handicap easily yesterday. ENGLISH DERBY CUP. LONDON, November 15. The Derby Cup resulted : Sir Joshua 1, Silver Mussar 2, Bonny ft toy 11. 3. Fourteen started. Won by "a short head.
