CONCLUDING DAY’S RESULTS

The Canterbury Jockey Club’s Spring Meeting for the fourth day had the weather fine, after overnight rain. The course was in great order, and the attendance good. Tote investments lor the day amounted to £64,4313, compared with £52,293 last year, making a total for the meeting of £218,7863, against £194,079 last year, an increase of £24,7073. Results:—
Port Cooper Hurdle Handicap.—(2) Pangolin 1, Carinthia 2, (6) Oriflamb 3. Won by two lengths; eight lengths. Time 3.10. Cressv Handicap.—(7) Taboo 1, (5) King Midas 2, (3) Night Lad 3. Won by. a good length; a neck. Time 1.26 3-5.
Pioneer Handicap.'—ft) Praise 1, (2) Tea Party 2, (5) Spoon 3. Won by one and a half lengths; a neck. Time 48 secs.
Members’ Handicap.—(3) Meadow Lark 1, (7) Disorder 2, (5) Gold Cure 3. Won by a length; half a length. Time 1.24 1-5.
. Seymour Handicap.—(l) Vali 1, (S) Blue Metal 2, (4) Make Up 3. Won by a head; a..length. Time 1.25. "0. G. Stead Gold Cup.—(2) Chide 1, (1) Honour 2, (3) Historic 3. Won by of a length; three lengths. Time 2.3 4-5. • Stoneyhurst Handicap.—(l) Hunting Cry 1, (3) Admiral Drake 2, (2) Count Palatine 3. Won hv a length; two lengths. Time 1.39 2-5. Fendalton Handicap.—(4) Panther 1, (1), Rabbi 2, (6) Yoma 3. Won by a neck; two lengths. Time 2.7 3-5.
