At a session of the Senate last night,-good progress wa3 made with the farm schedules of the new tariff. - The Senate adopted all its Finance Committee's proposad increases. The duty on milk, cream and cheese was increased to- eight cents per 4 pound,' the House having already raised it' from the: present five cents to seven cents.
