(Received this day at 9.40 a.m.) OTTAWA, Nov. 14. A report from Eddington. Alberton, states all the 200 inhabitants of the town of Thorliikl, fifty miles north, are homeless, many without clothing, and all without food, but are being sheltered on available floor space in farmhouses, following a bush fire last evening. The fire whi h was swept by a wind, was like an inferno and was upon the town almost before the danger was realised. There was no loss of life, though some suffered from burns. A muffin I v of the children escaped in their night clothes. The loss is estimated at 150,000d01.
