The Federal Labour Government’s Assistant Minister df Industry ("Mi Beasley) created a surprise in political circles when replying to a deputation of railway workers h'e expressed the view that there should be An entire reconstruction of the Arbitration Act. He added tlmt arbitration has served its purpose, carrying us along up to the present, but it has had its day. We must come forward with a new scheme to meet the changed conditions.
