GRUESOME FIND
IN A VACANT HOUSE

WELLINGTON, Nov. 11
When a prospective lady tenant was being shown over a vacant house at Alma .Street, at about II o’eloik this morning, she .happened to push mini a door, revealing the body of a man. The bead rested in a gas oven, which was turned full on. and apparently tiio bod V had been lying there for two days. The deceased was identified as a labourer, named A. Stewart, who was a former tenant of the house. Death was due to usnhvviation and the taking of a dose of -disinl'ei taut . Three months ago a woman named Brnokor committed suicide in the same house by taking the same poi-mi.’
