WEBBING BELLS

A pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Hokitika, on Wednesday last, when Anne Veronica, elder daughter of -Mr and Mrs J. Findlay-, Bealey Street, was married to David, son of Air D. Graham, of Hariharii The Imde, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a- wreath and veil and was attired in a charming dress of white, georgette, with shoes and stockings to match, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet of appropriate spring flowers. The bridesmaid, Miss G. Ross (of Grevmoiith) wore a dress of apricot crepe de ehene, with a mob cap and shoes.and stockings to tone, and •uivried a bouquet of flowers, whilst tintwo little flower girls (Misses Valeria and Audrey Chetwynd) nieces of I be bride, were daintily dressed in blue and pink crepe de ehene respectively and carried bouquets to match. Mr F. Ford, of Harihari, was best man. r ! lie bride’s mother wore a dress of black celanese with hat to match and fox fur. The church, which had been tastefully decorated by friends of the bride, was filled with her numerous friends. The Rev. J. W. Hayward officiated and afterwards presided at the wedding breakfast, which was held at Preston’s Tea Rooms. Later, the newly-married connle left for Grevmouth en route for Christchurch and the North Island where the honeymoon will be spent. The bride travelled in a dress of blue silk repp doth with beige trimming and a inongolian fox fur, the gift of the; bridegroom. On their return Mr and Airs Graham will reside at Waiho Goi’ge.
