WARSHIP.

LONDON, November 7. The model of the seventeenth century warship Mary Rose, carved in a block of kauri, was presented to Portsmouth Cathedral by a Melbourne resi-
dent Clements Langford and a native of Portsmouth, it was handed over in the presence of a hundred admirals. Master John Kempthorne, the youngest descendant of Admiral Sir John Kempthorne, Commander of the Mary Rose, headed the procession, after which a quarter of Admirals, jellicoe, Roger Keys, Oliver, and Cab bhorpe advanced. Keys placed the model in position opposite Kempr^J thorne , B monument,. Jellicoe hoisted the naval colours,. Bishop Lichfield, a descendant of Admiral Kempthorne, preached the service, the first of its kind in an English Cathedral.
