“RIGHT TO KILL”

FRENCH JURIES’ DECISION

[United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.]

PARIS, Nov. 8. The right to kill has been admitted by two more French juries. Acquittals have been secured inf the case of Lewis Marchland, aged 18 years, who killed his father because of cruelty; and also in the case of Joseph Amar, who shot his sweetheart because she had brought about his financial ruin.

Marchland’s plea was that his father enraged him to the point of killing because his daughter was slow with the coffee, and he was consistently cruel.

Arnar’S counsel eloquently detailed how -the dead woman insisted on changing from, town to town, thus involving financial loss, which culminated in a fatal scene when she demanded a fur coat.
