A message has been received by tlic Navigation Department stating a vessel is ashore at Cape Hope, and the sterner Saros is standing by and will launch a boat. There is no description of the vessel, but it is surmised it is not a large one, as it would have notified the authorities by wireless of its plight, before being driven ashore.
