LATE LOCALS.

The funeral of the late Mrs .Stankey of Kanieri took place yesterday morning and was attended by many friends. The services at St. Mary’s Church and the graveside were conducted by Rev. Father McKay.

At the request of the New Zealand Poultry Association, the Government has agreed to gra.nt a price guarantee on egg pulp exported from the Dominion at the rate of £2 7s 6d for every 401 b tin. The first shipment of 500 tins, in the nature of a trial shipment, will leave New Zealand by the Corinthic late in November.
