The Prince of Wales Match, the first stage for the King’s Trophy was won by a New Zealander, Rifleman W. MeIvor, of Petone, with 102 points, this total being compiled over three ranges, seven shots each at three, five and six hundred yards, his totals being 33, 34. 35. E. Ashy, of Trafalgar (Victoria) finished with a similar total but was beaten on the count back for the £2O prize. Mclvor and Ashy are leading in the King’s Trophy Match. R,. Palmer (Victoria) won the Longheld Arregate, which is second in importance to the King’s. The conditions throughout the day were tricky.
