The result of a three days battle is now confirmed, Soviet troops captured the town of Lahasusu. Chinese admit the loss of three river gunboats, and five hundred sa.lot's were drowned. They claim the Russians suffered similarly. Persistent reports are circulating at Harbin that Moscow intends shortly to issue an order for a general offensive along the whole Manchurian border.
