Maria, California, states Kingsford Smith conferred with Capt. Hancock, who backed the Southern Cross Australian flight, after which the flier announced that the Southern Cross would come to America from Europe as soon as backing was secured., to make the transAtlantie and trans-Continental flight. He stated his companions would be Litchfield, McWilliams and Dim. AT NEW YORK. NEW YORK, Oct. 10. Mr MacDonald arrived at 5.10 today' for a three days’ visit.
