TERRIBLE TYPHOON
IN JAPAN. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). 'TOKIO', Sept. 11. A most severe typhoon was experienced yesterday. There were 75,000 houses flooded by the overflowing of rivers. •At Tokio there were sailors blown overboard from a battleship, and several were drowned. At Yokosuka, great property damage is reported. A Yokohama message,. stated that, jx coasting. steamer was wrecked, and it is feared that the entire crew were lost.
