The cricketer, Bert Oldfield, who returned from a honeymoon and business trip to England, denies a statement that he is retiring from first-class cricket. At a meeting of the Auckland Cricket Association to-night, the Hawke’s Bay Association forwarded a request for the loan of the coach for'three or four weeks during the coming season.
