Limerick is quite fit, in fact the trainer is oleased with the horse s condition, hut special permission was obtained to use the grass track.
The “Daily Guardian” publishes the following: t
Limerick “There was an old horse of N.Z., And when it came into his head To go at his top, the others could stop, They just as well might have been dead.”
