The victories of Nottingham, Yorkshire and Lancashire to-day left the cricket championship dependent on the last round of matches. At present Nottingham has 155 points and Yorksire and Lancashire 148 each. Nottingham can only be deprived of winning if Derbyshire beats Nottingham outright and Yorkshire beats Sussex outright. Lancashire has played its last match so is out of the running.
