BOARD’S WORK APPROVED

MASTERTON, August 30,

Addressing the annual meeting of .the Featherston Co-op, Dairy Coy today, at the' request of the directors, Mr AV! A. Toms; Chairman of the Control Board, said the company’s total levy to the Board for the past season was £123, while the benefit accruing to the company from a ieduction of costing was £2200. He stated also that the whole annual levy to the Board was £35,000, while reductions secured for -the industry amounted 'to £450,000.

At the conclusion of the meeting a vote of thanks- and confidence in Mr lorns and the Board was carried, the mover, Mr Yule, stating that the Board was an immense benefit to the dairy industry. . .
