Two armed masked bandits attempted to rob the Lake Colac Branch of the Banlc of Now South Wales. They attacked the- manager and his wife as they were entering the banking chamber. Two shots were fired at the banker, but be was struck clown with a piece of iron. His wife’s screams scared the robbers, who escaped in a car with the bank revolvers.
