120 PERSONS BURIED,

A four storeyed tenement in Algiers inhabited by twenty-five Italian labourers anil families fell ;n a heap burying seme 120 persons. I* iremoil, troops and volunteers quicklv began a rescue and brought out ten dead and forty-five seriously -injured. There is little hope for many others to he alive when the debris is cleai’ed.
