Glorious spring weather prevailed for the Danucvirlie Hunt Club’s annual fixture. The attendance was good. The- tot.e handled £9552 compared with £8314 for the same meeting last year. Asheott Hunters’ Hurdles.—.(2) C-al-luna 1, (3) Askari 2, (6) Risk 3. Won by a length ; one and a half lengths. Time 2.52 3-5. Oringi Hack Hurdles.—(l) Pcshwa 1, (3) Lady Gay 2, (4) Royal Elm 3. Won in two lengths; a length, 'lime 2.0 l 4-5. Takapau Novice Stakes.—(3) Aco:o 1. (5) Whenuatunga 2, (1) Kotaki Eka 3. Won bv two lengths; threequarters of a length. Time 1:4. Hunt Club Steeplechase.—(l) Billsheck 1, (3) Ponjola 2, (4) Harrowgate 3. Won by one and a half lengths: two lengths. Time 5.16 2-5. Rakaitai Flat Handicap:—(3) Nucleus 1, (4) Huikai 2, (6) Essential 3. Won by a neck. Time 1.45 3-5. Kakahuhura Hack Handicap:— (5) Shot Silk. 1, (1) Archeria 2, (3) Te Awalia 3. Won by j[ of a length. Time 1.18.
