PALMERSTON NORTH, Aug. 29. - Appearing before the Magistrate today, Frederick George Paulson, who was remaiided on heavy bail on Monday, when a suggestion was made that depositions' might have to be taken, pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated assault on his mother. Senior-Sergeant Whitehouse stated that at, the. instigation of another •woman, who had been ordered out of the house,. Paulsen attacked his mother and when she sought to defend herself with a stick she suffered cuts on the wrist and head, and injured her knee, and would be in hospital for another week.
