WATIERSIDER KILLED

AVELLINGTON, August 15.
Andrew Archibald, a waterside worker, 77 years of age, was run over and-killed instantly by a rake of trucks on the Railway wliarl at 6.10 to-night. Several trucks were being shunted at No 3 berth of the railway wharf, where they connected with other stationary trucks and sot them in motion. Archibald, who was behind these, apparently was knocked down, the .wheels, (passing over his chest. Deceased’/was living with his wife at 33, Coroinandel Street.
FOUND HANGED
GISBORNE, August 16
Arthur Edward Burch, aged 52, a drover, was found by his wife early this morning hanging by a stockwhip from a bluegum tree, near his residence.
