A FIND IN INDIA
RELIC OF DEPOSED RULERS

DELHI, August 13
A remarkable discovoiy has been made near Hyderabad,'in Sind, "here a big underground hall, with a roof supported by three great stone pillars, and also three ante-chambers shrouded in dust, were found under the ruins of a palace of the former Ifiamas of Parkar. Hteiyvyf 'floods, causing the river to overflow into a nearby lake, exposed the entrance. Then the cave was immediately' sealed, and is now guarded by Government orders.
It is recalled that in the year 1859, the British dethroned the Ranas of Parkar and burned their palace, following upon a mutiny, and the local inhabitants, for many years, believed that the site contained an underground cave filled with treasure which was guarded hv snakes placed there by the Ranas, who before they were deposed, ruled a large portion of Sind.
